Anderson Craig Sr.

Anderson Dean Craig Sr. age 51 of 703 Davis Street Gaffney, S.C., transitioned on Wednesday, March 7,2018. Anderson was born December 23,1966. He was the son Lettie Corene Davidson Craig and the late Horace Lee Craig. Anderson also was raised by his sister Priscilla Craig Smith.

He was a 1986 graduate of Gaffney High School. He was employed at Walmart as an Automotive Technician.

Anderson was preceded in death in addition to his father, a sister, Janet Craig.

Anderson leaves to remember loving and fond memories, his daughter, Markela Mills of Spartanburg, S.C.; His sons, Michael Dean Gregory of Gaffney, S.C., Anderson Dean Craig Jr. of Blacksburg, S.C., Shaquille Ponder (Anteanna) of Phenix City, Alabama, Gabriel Craig of Gaffney, S.C.; His mother, Lettie Corene Davidson Craig of Gaffney, S.C.; His nieces raised in the home, Charlene Faison (Shawnathon) of Gaffney, S.C., Kimberely Jefferies of Gaffney, S.C., Latasha Racthford of Union, S.C.; His nephew raised in the home, Phillips Smith of Gaffney, S.C.; A special friend, Rosie Wannamaker of Pacolet, S.C.; His sisters, Lettie Diane Proctor, Sarah Craig, Priscilla Craig Smith (Horace), Shelia Craig, Annie Jolly, all of Gaffney, S.C.; His brothers, Horace Craig (Helen) of Shelby, N.C., Van Craig, Joe Craig (Pagie), Charles Craig (Makayla) of Gaffney, S.C.; His aunt, Girtha Brown of Gaffney, S.C.; His Uncle, Rev. Lawrance Davidson Jr. of Gaffney, S.C.; Five grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 13,2018 at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Rev. Freddy Davidson, Rev. Robert Dover, Rev. Lawrance Davidson Jr., Rev. James Sarrat Jr., Rev. Joel Phillips, Rev. Wade Wallace, Rev Tony Makupson officiating. The body will lie in state at 1 p.m.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family is receiving friends at 703 Davis Street Gaffney, SC.
