FCA Cherokee County making major changes to its annual banquet

Cherokee County Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be making major changes to its annual fundraising banquet, scheduled to take place in April.

The FCA staff, along with the Board of Directors are working diligently to ensure the changes made are exciting and will rally large support from our community.

FCA’s past banquets have been host to big-name keynote speakers and served as award ceremonies to recognize coaches and athletes. FCA hopes that by changing the format of the banquet it will increase the excitement of donors.

Cherokee County FCA hopes to encourage those who have not been involved with FCA to join in the excitement of the organization. Volunteers are acting on the mission of FCA every day in our community. Staff and volunteers are presenting coaches and athletes and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church

“We believe it is time to make changes, and we are going to make big and exciting changes,” said Walter Cox, Area Director, FCA Cherokee County.

The changes are still being held secret until all of the banquet’s plans are confirmed. There is one thing for sure – it is going to be like nothing Cherokee County has ever seen in an annual banquet.
