Four football players are expected to put pen to paper and sign today with a college.

Shrine Bowler Cam Rice will sign with Georgia Military College. He’s expected to stay two years before transferring to a Division I school.

Rice was the team’s second leading rusher before being moved to linebacker, where he spearheaded a late-season defensive surge.

Defensive lineman Hunter Decker will sign with Guilford College. Fellow defensive lineman Noah Owens will ink with Lincoln University near Philadelphia.

North-South all-star game selectee Dashon Tate will sign with Newberry.

It won’t be all football players signing today at Gaffney. Gaffney’s Chandler Brooks will sign to play baseball at Spartanburg Methodist, while Kristen Owens will compete for the cross country team at Spartanburg Methodist.
