Deacon Dwight Littlejohn, Sr.

Deacon Dwight Maurice Littlejohn, Sr., age 52, of 2214 Stoney Point Road, Waco, North Carolina, husband of Deaconess Angela Watkins Littlejohn, passed Wesdensday, June 14, 2017, at his home.

Son of the late Henrietta Littlejohn and reared by his uncle and aunt, the late Wade and Nettie Littlejohn, he was a native of Gaffney. Two brothers, Mr. David Littlejohn and Mr. Mark Clemmons, preceded him in death. He was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, Waco, where he served faithfully as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, members of the Male Choir and for 17 years served with the Prison Ministry. He graduated from Gaffney High School and worked at Wal-Mart Super Center.

Also surviving are: his son Mr. Dwight Littlejohn, Jr. of Shelby, N.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Alicia Littlejohn Sims (Aungelo) of Gastonia, N.C., and Ms. Shenetta Littlejohn of the home; three brothers, Mr. Nelton Littlejohn of Gaffney, Mr. Walter Littlejohn (Harriot) of Toledo, Ohio, and Mr. Alexander Littlejohn of Texas; his sister, Ms. Myra Littlejohn of Cincinnati, Ohio; and a host of other relatives.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 21 at 2:30 p.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Les Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service.

The family is receiving friends at the residence, 2214 Stoney Point Road, Waco, N.C. Foster Funeral Home, Gaffney.
