Sheriff Steve Mueller reported Friday evening that Timothy O’Bryan Galmer, 30, of Glenwood Drive, is wanted for two counts of attempted murder, one count of discharging a firearm into a dwelling and one count of possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Anyone within information is asked to contact Det. Richard Burgess at (864) 489-4722, ext. 144, or Crime Stoppers of Cherokee County at 1-888- CRIMESC (1-888-274-6372).

Charges stem from an incident that occurred at 3:46 a.m. July 5 in which deputies were dispatched to a report of a shooting with injuries.

It is alleged that Galmer went to his former girlfriend’s home and knocked on the door but was refused entry to the home, according to the sheriff’s office. Galmer allegedly fired several rounds into the home, striking a 35-year-old man who was inside the home in his right arm.

The sheriff’s office says Galmer is 6-feet, 6-inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, and has tattoos on the top of both hands and tattoos on both arms. He was last seen driving a white- or cream-colored 2005 Dodge Magnum station wagon, according to the sheriff’s office.

The sheriff’s office released no update as of Sunday afternoon.
