World traveler offers unique brand of music at fall debut of ‘Music Sandwiched-In’

 HIROYA TSUKAMOTO HIROYA TSUKAMOTO On Thursday, Sept. 17, Hiroya Tsukamoto, a guitarist and composer originally from Kyoto, Japan will perform at the Cherokee County Library’s Main Branch for the first fall "Music Sandwiched- In” concert from 12:15- 1 p.m.

He began playing banjo when he was 13-years old. In 2000, he received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music and came to the U.S.

Since then, he has been performing internationally including several appearances with his group at Blue Note in New York and released five albums as a leader. Hiroya has developed unique acoustic music which is sometimes described as "Cinematic acoustic music"

He recently performed on Japanese National Television. He has three albums to his credit and has delighted audiences all over the world. Please help the library welHIROYA come this awesome performer.
