Buford Street UMC will host Day of Prayer service June 13

Gov. Nikki Haley has set Saturday, June 13, as a Day of Prayer, fasting, repentance, and seeking God’s blessings for our nation.

On Saturday, June 13, at 9 a.m., Buford Street United Methodist Church, 120 E. Buford St., will meet in the chapel of the church.

Everyone is invited to join in this Day of Prayer with scripture reading, prayer and worship. Ministers from all denominations, leaders from the community and state government will participate in praying for America. Names or affiliations of those praying will not be announced.

Prayers will ask for repentance, reconciliations, revival, reformation and refreshing. Everyone (multiethnic, nondenominational, multi-generationals) will be invited to pray for our nation.
