Miss Morrell, Mr. Linder wed at Sharon Rose Farm


MRS. MICHAEL PRESTON LINDER (LAUREN BROOKE MORRELL) MRS. MICHAEL PRESTON LINDER (LAUREN BROOKE MORRELL) Lauren Brooke Morrell of Gaffney and Michael Preston Linder of Spartanburg were united in marriage on Saturday, June 29, 2013, in an outdoor wedding at Sharon Rose Farm. The Rev. Cliff Phillips conducted the double ring ceremony at 6 p. m. A reception, given by the bride's parents, followed at Sharon Rose Farm.

Guests were greeted upon arrival at the wedding by the bride's friend, Jennifer Vassy, of Gaffney.

Music was provided by vocalists

Clint Phillips, Stephen Phillips and Ali Henderson of Gaffney. "Because You Love Me" was rendered as the mothers and grandparents were seated. An instrumental rendition of "Friends Are Friends Forever" was played for the attendants' processional and "When God Made You" was played for the entrance of the bride. "I Do" was performed as the couple participated in the sand unity ceremony and "You Making My Dreams Come True" was rendered for the recessional.

The area where the couple exchanged their vows was decorated with arrangements of flowers in antique barrels. Coral and white flower petals lined the aisles and the pews were draped with burlap. Every other pew held a Mason jar with white hydrangeas.

Escorted and given in marriage by her fa ther, the bride was radiant in a stra pless ivory Essence of Australia gown th at feat ur ed asymme trical pleating and in tricate cry stal acc ents. The bodice was ad or ned with lo vely lace motifs.

An ivory veil complem ented her gown an d she carried a bouque t of mixed coral an d white flow ers.

Katlyn Crocker of Spartanburg, cousin of the bride, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Dare Abbott of Moore, cousin of the bride; Cassidy Crocker of Gaffney, friend of the bride; Ashley Fuller of Spartanburg, friend of the bride; Jordan Linder of Spartanburg, cousin of the groom; and Santana Phillips of Gaffney, cousin of the bride.

The bridesmaids wore coral dresses in different styles while the matron of honor wore a mint dress. Each attendant carried an arrangement of mixed white flowers.

Ava Reese Painter of Pauline, cousin of the bride, served as flower girl. She was attired in a dress of ivory tulle and carried a basket of flower petals.

Eli Walton of Gaffney, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

The groom was attended by his father as best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Linder of Edgefield, brother of the groom; Brian Linder of Spartanburg, brother of the groom; Jonny Crocker of Spartanburg, cousin of the bride; Dylan Davis of Pacolet, friend of the groom; and Justin Phillips of Gaffney, cousin of the bride.

The bride is the daughter of Edward and Tonya Morrell of Gaffney. Her grandparents are Donald and Peggy Phillips of Gaffney and Ed and Pat Morrell of Boiling Springs, S. C. A graduate of Gaffney High School, she is attending Greenville Technical College.

The groom is the son of Buddy and Janet Linder of Spartanburg and grandson of Jack and Carolyn Linder of Spartanburg, Gloria Knight of Albany, Ga., and the late Preston

Knight Sr. He graduated from Broome High School and is a student at Spartanburg Community College.

After a wedding trip to Cancun,

Mr. and Mrs. Linder will live in Spartanburg.
