SATURDAY FINAL DAY TO REGISTER IF YOU WANT TO VOTE NOV. 2

Cherokee County residents who aren’t registered to vote better hurry if they want to cast a ballot in the general election.

Anyone who wants to vote on Nov. 2 must be registered by Saturday. The application deadline also applies to voters who have moved to another county since registering.

People can register by visiting the Cherokee County Voter Registration Office, 1424 N. Limestone St., inside Peachtree Centre, Room 1008, during normal business hours and from 9 a.m. until noon on Saturday, Oct. 2. The voter registration office can be reached at 487-2563.

Voter registration forms and other information also can be obtained from scvotes.org.

Absentee ballots may be cast at the Voter Registration Office beginning Oct. 4.

Absentee ballots may be cast until 5 p.m., Nov. 1.
