Robert E. Mosley

BLACKSBURG – Robert Eugene Mosley, 25, 763 Old Chester Road, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2009, at home.

Born in Cherokee County, he was the son of David Paul Mosley of Blacksburg and the late Georgianna Chandler Mosley and grandson of Grady and Lucille Pruitt Mosley of the home.

In addition to his father and grandparents, he is survived by his son, Cody Mosley of the home; three brothers, Donald Mosley, Shannon Mosley and Christopher Chandler, all of Blacksburg; and a sister, Georgette Chandler of Blacksburg.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Dean Mosley.

A Celebration of Life service was held Saturday, Jan. 2, 2010, at Hopewell Baptist Church with the Revs. Terry Lowe, Keith Whitener and Donald Hamrick officiating. Burial was in Canaan United Methodist Church Cemetery, Smyrna.

Pallbearers were Michael Merrell, Chris Merrell, Eddie Duffie, Jerry Norman, Shannon Ervin and Derek Ham.

Visitation was held Friday, Jan. 1, from 6-8 p.m. at White Columns.

The family is at the residence.
