Clara J. Moss

Textile weaver and waitress at Ozzie's

Clara Jeanette Moss, 67, of Brookview Health Care, died M o n d a y, July 31, 2006, in Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.

Born in G a f f n e y, she was the daughter of the late Dewey P. Moss and the late Virginia Gladys Byars Moss. She was a textile weaver and a waitress at Ozzie's.

Surviving are two daughters, Wanda St. Pierre of Colorado and Frankie Rinehart of Blacksburg; three brothers, James Dewey Moss, George Edward Moss, both of Gaffney, and Charles Larry Moss of Killeen, Texas; t w o sisters, Betty Joe Sanlin and Jenny Genelle Moss, both of Gaffney; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Gordon Mortuary Chapel, conducted by the Revs. Ray Mullinax and William Blanton. Burial will be in Draytonville Baptist Church Cemetery. Body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Michael Rinehart, Larry Moss, George Moss, Eddie Peeler, Dewayne Ramsey and Chris Moss.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7-9 at Gordon Mortuary.

The family is at 1736 Blacksburg Hwy., Lot No. 14.
