Narcotics officers arrested nine people and seized crack cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine, Lortabs, Oxycontin, and drug paraphernalia Friday.

Agent Christy Poole of the Cherokee County Metro Narcotics Unit has charged the following Gaffney residents with trafficking crack cocaine: Sherman O'Brian Tate, 22, of 114 Michigan Ave.; Kirsten Lashan Phillips, 23, of 228 Pryor St.; Shanetta Evett Foster, 23, of 330B W. Robinson St.; and Toleisha E. Leach, 19, of 402 W. Robinson St.

Phillips is also charged with possession of marijuana. Additionally, he faces charges of petty larceny and a probation violation and remains jailed in lieu of $36,652 bond.

Bond has been denied for Tate. Foster and Leach each remain jailed in lieu of $20,000 bond.

Narcotics agents executed the search warrant at 1:50 p.m. Friday at Foster's home on West Robinson Street and located more than 15 grams of crack cocaine in three separate plastic bags, a report at the Cherokee County Sheriff's Office states. Police said they found one of those bags and another bag containing less than an ounce of marijuana in Phillips' pants pocket.

Captain David Oglesby of the Cherokee County Metro Narcotics Unit has charged Robert Wayne Dobbins, 35, of 126 Ramsey St., Gaffney, with trafficking more than 28 grams but less than 100 grams of methamphetamine and possession with intent to distribute hydrocodone. He remains at the detention center in lieu of $50,000 bond.

The narcotics officer also charged Timothy Dale Frazier, 40, of 129 Saluda St., Chesnee; and Rocky Lee Bowes, 27, of Mooresboro, N.C., with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine.

Frazier is also charged with possession of Oxycodone. He and Bowes each remain at the detention center in lieu of bond.

Agents executed the search warrant at 8 p.m. Friday at Dobbins' home and seized 65 grams of methamphetamine contained in two large and two small bags, 16 pills and $2,347 in cash, another report at the sheriff's office states. Police also said officers located a glass pipe and multiple sets of digital scales.

A driver's license checkpoint led to the arrest of two more people.

Agent Al Phillips has charged Bridgett Angela Blackwell, 25, of 116 Goforth Road, Gaffney, with possession of methamphetamine, possession of oxycodone and possession of Lortabs.

April Jones, 32, of 252 Colony Road, Gaffney, is charged with possession of methamphetamine, driving under suspension, habitual offender and open container.

Phillips and sheriff's deputy Todd Parker stopped a car driven by Jones at a checkpoint on East Junior High Road at 9:45 p.m. Friday, a separate report at the sheriff's office states. Jones gave the officers permission to search the vehicle. An ounce of methamphetamine, 10 Lortabs and oxycodone pills, and an open container of beer was located inside the vehicle, police said. Jones' drivers license had been suspended, the report states.
